Lavazza has debuted a new range of four ethically sourced coffee blends, developed specifically for the hotel, restaurant and bar channels
Tierra Origins features coffee from Tanzania and Brazil, carefully blended to offer a unique taste experience from the country of origin
The range includes a 100% Arabica Brazilian espresso from lambar and cereja apasita blends, and a 70% Arabica Brazilian espresso with 30% Robusta beans both available as beans in 1kg bags plus a 100% Arabica Brazilian filter coffee and 100% Arabica Tanzanian filter coffee, which are additionally available in 1kg ground, 226.8g ground and 64g ground formats
The Origins are the latest additions to the Rainforest Alliance-certified Tierra project, which aims to develop products that continue to improve the social and environmental conditions in coffee- growing communities
The new range reaffirms Lavazza commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture and acknowledging the work of everyone involved in the supply chain, the Italian coffee company said
