A Guide to Plan Storage
At Paperstone we offer complete drawing rack and plan storage solutions from the leading drawing storage manufacturer, Arnos. The Arnos range offers both mobile vertical file plan storage as well as wall-mounted rack plan storage, both accommodating front load binders in sizes A2 to A0. Hang plan storage is one of the most effective ways of preserving large format plans and to this end, Arnos have created the Hang-A-Plan range.
What is plan storage?
Plan storage is a space-efficient way of storing plans (architectural, construction, etc.), maps, drawings and other large sheet documents. The set-up usually consists of trolleys or wall racks which suspend binders clamped around the documents, preventing creasing, damage and soiling to them while keeping them easily accessible.

Arnos Hang-A-Plan Binders
- Hang-A-Plan binders are available in two styles: General and Quick Release.
- General binders (coloured silver) are clamped close with wing nuts and come in A0, A1 and A2 sizes.
- Quickfile binders (black) close with quick release levers and come in A0 and A1 sizes.
- All binders have a capacity of 25mm (over 100 sheets).
- Binders arrive fully constructed and are ready for use.
Hang-A-Plan trolleys
- Arnos plan storage trolleys come in three sizes: small, medium and large.
- Small trolleys can hold up to 15 A2 binders.
- Medium trolleys can hold up to 20 binders (A1 or A2).
- Large trolleys can hold up to 20 binders (A0, A1 or A2).
- Trolleys are flat packed for easy delivery and storage and only take a minute to assemble.
- Binders are sold separately.
Hang-A-Plan wall racks
- Arnos plan storage wall racks come in three sizes: 2 binder capacity, 5 binder capacity and 10 binder capacity.
- All three wall racks can accommodate A0, A1 or A2 binders.
- Wall racks are supplied with screws for mounting.
- Binders are sold separately.
