The new Canon CP740
printers may be slow and a bit awkward to use compared with other
office machines, a review has suggested.
Writing in
PC Advisor, Melissa Riofrio says that the
office machines may be "clunky" but they also produce high-quality images.
She states that the dy-sublimation photos produced by the
printers "compare well with those produced by the more common inkjet technology".
The review also lists the low cost of the
office machines as a positive point, as well as the economical prices of its replacement supplies.
One of the downsides of replacing these supplies, however, is that those who want to change the paper size will also have to change the cassette and
printer cartridges, the review states. Additionally, third-party supplies cannot be used.
High-quality output is the main selling point of the
printers, the reviewer suggests, saying: "The output of photos printed on the Canon Selphy CP740 averaged slower than one page per minute, but they looked very good overall."
She adds: "Its acquisition and supply prices are reasonable, too, which makes it a good value."
Recently, the Malaysian arm of Canon said that the
office equipment manufacturer was expecting 20,000 people to attend its Canon Expo 2007.
At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office equipment.
